I have shared my experience in a previous message of confronting the petty tyrants in my life in which I knew that if I followed through with my plan there would without question be a death involved. I would not be able to go to battle without experiencing loss.

On the other hand, if I chose not to confront, I would not be able to live with myself, for I knew that my fear and cowardice would have been the forces to which I had succumbed. It was an easy choice to make, but a nightmare to live through.

My recommendation is simple. It is time to organize, direct and undertake a path in your life. This is but one path but it is a powerful one.

You must learn to take responsibility for your learning and to think for your Self by moving inside of your Self. If you go about the business of seeking a Savior outside of your Self, you are going to find one, so be discerning.

There is very little known about the realm of consciousness and like all truths, will be greatly contested. The idea that something greater could be taking place is foreign to the human mind.

It is far too simplistic to state that you gained your identity of who you consider yourself to be from your parents, religion, or the educational system, and yet most people can certainly recount specific incidences in which their identity was affected in one way or another in one or more of those three environments. But, of course, there’s a lot more going on. Your identity is almost certainly going to be intertwined with reference points outside of yourself.

I know of no other practice other than meditation that stands the chance of helping you make progress in your life. Meditation is the only art that you can practice but never master and at the same time, become a master.

In spite of all of the limitations and barriers that you face in your physical, horizontal world, you will achieve mastery by no longer dividing and separating the events of your life as good or bad but by unifying every event in your life as part of truth-consciousness, part of the Divine, part of God. For everything here is a tool of truth-consciousness, including you.

I would go so far as to say that unless you understand darkness, you can’t understand the light.

But if you go too far into the darkness, you might not make it out. You become addicted. If you go undercover too long, you become the person you’re impersonating. If you go too far into the light and separate yourself from the every day, you become self-righteous and preachy. If you throw out a crazy idea but find that your idea is supported by others, you might not think it’s such a crazy idea after all and if practiced long enough, your crazy idea seems to be normal.

When you come upon forces of destruction in your life, when you find yourself going through difficult times, pain, loneliness, or whatever it may be, it is so important to understand that you have drawn these events to yourself as part of your evolutionary process, your spiritual process.

Because the mind cannot not record, it cannot not respond to what you are reading or hearing. The mind has no choice but to process what you are reading and consequently, you will increase your ability to learn and to create the changes that are needed to improve your life.

Consciousness reveals itself as the realization of your potential which, said differently, is achieving your destiny or fate. You become what you are but not the you your mind thinks you are.

Seek the realization and transformation in your life today while you have time and get busy living.

It’s pretty easy to acknowledge that we have little knowledge of the rationale of the cosmos to create the opposite of itself in the form of ignorance and all forms of human unconsciousness. Because the mind is so deeply rooted in material and mental reductionism, it’s hard to convince the mind about a concept that states that the process of evolution, particularly your own unique, individual evolutionary process, is the divine seeking to realize itself in physical form

The number one thing I learned was that one of the deeper instincts a human being has, even if it has been repressed for decades, is to seek, find and express love, and that is why evil will never win.

You are more apt to define your experience of life not through these breakthroughs of consciousness but through the negative experiences that permeated your life, that left lasting marks on your mind, body, and emotions.

The world of duality creates a mass of problems that you wonder if progress can ever be made under these conditions. There’s your opinion, there’s my opinion and then there’s the truth, which is also pressing for itself to be made known, to come forward. Always trying to satisfy this inner impulse of being right, of being in control, of maintaining safety and balance in the world, of increasing your prosperity, of being loved and appreciated. It is all of this and more of these dynamics that you have been trying to resolve since you were born.

My intention in these messages is to help you create the bridges that are necessary to cross into a greater life and the beginning step is aspiration. Aspiration contains the preposition “to.” Inspiration contains the preposition “by.” It’s great to be inspired by something but it’s even better to aspire to something. One is passive and one is active.

Slavery will make a stand. Prejudice will make a stand. Destroying democracy will make a stand before it recoils into the darkness from which it came. It is childish at this point in human history to recount the hundreds of thousands of lives that have been lost in the process of confronting those darknesses that serve as the evolutionary sandpaper of human life, gradually smoothing the edges from the agony of destruction into the acceptance of a different way of life.

This is life in the horizontal versus life in the vertical. Life in the horizontal would say that your nature is a precarious, uncertain one, based upon outer events and the fulfillment of your desires, whatever they may be. Life in the vertical would say that your nature is a divine one, one within God and God within you.

Simply put, if your experiences are dictating your behavior, then you are not in control. Your past is in control, making you out of control.
