In 1994, Haydn Hasty (MA, EdS, PhD) and Terry Hasty (MS) founded MindSpring™, Inc., a company dedicated to leadership development centered on self-awareness, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Their groundbreaking work in emotional intelligence became the foundation for the Middle and Senior Leadership Programs for the USDA Forest Service. This work led to us working all across the country with Fortune 500 companies, and healthcare systems, educational organizations, non-profits and businesses small and large.

In 2012, a transformational experience shifted their trajectory overnight, expanding their focus from self-awareness and into what they consider to be the new frontier of human development: consciousness. Over the next decade, they engaged in a concentrated study of Sri Aurobindo and Mira Alfassa (known as The Mother), focusing heavily on Aurobindo’s masterworks, Savitri: A Legend and a Symbol and The Life Divine. WellSpring Wellness Center and TruthSpring™, Inc., were created as a result of these efforts.

The spiritual principles found in Sri Aurobindo’s and The Mother’s teachings offer a profound understanding of the sacredness and unfolding of human life. Terry and Haydn have been students of this work for over a decade and continue to refine easy-to-understand and easy-to-apply concepts of human transformation that center around consciousness, the invisible science of human development.. Our facilities are located at 960 and 966 Tunnel Road. As you pull into the driveway, WellSpring Wellness Center is the building on the left. MindSpring™, Inc. and TruthSpring™, Inc. are located in the building on the right. We are an easy 5-8 minute drive from downtown Asheville.
