Health and Healing

There are two versions of consciousness. one is spirit and the other is physical matter. they both share consciousness as their source and essence.

But not everyone agrees with this. I want to give you two perspectives before we move on.

Lee Smolin’s 2013 “Time Reborn: From the Crisis in Physics to the Future of the Universe”:

“It is so easy to make stuff up, and the bookshelves are full of metaphysical proposals. But we want real knowledge, which means there must be a way to confirm a proposed answer. This limits us to science. If there’s another route to reliable knowledge of the world besides science, I’m unlikely to take it, because my life is centered around a commitment to the ethics of science.”

Karlfried Graf Durckheim’s 2007 “The Way of Transformation” offers a different perspective:

“The time has come for us to free ourselves from the idea that only those things which can be rationally grasped and objectively verified are real and binding. The state of mind and body that blocks any awareness of the presence of greater being inevitably produces a special kind of suffering. It is the experiencing of this anguish that forces us to take stock of our life attitudes. We must train our faculty of sensory perception to feel and appreciate qualities which are beyond the limits of our ordinary consciousness.”

Let’s go back to Smolin.

“The problem of consciousness is an aspect of the question of what the world really is. We don’t know what a rock really is, or an atom, or an electron. We can only observe how they interact with other things and thereby describe their relational properties. Perhaps everything has external and internal aspects. The eternal properties are those that science can capture and describe---through interactions, in terms of relationships. The internal aspect is the intrinsic essence; it is the reality that is not expressible in the language of interactions and relations. Consciousness, whatever it is, is an aspect of the intrinsic essence of brains.”

And now back to Durckheim.

“When we finally come to see the manner in which events and people coincide to manifest our greatest good we will discover that we have existed in two worlds, one within the other. And that the only difference between our illusion and our enlightenment is a slight difference in attitude. We will discover that nothing which happens in or around us is in vain or without its appointed place and just significance. We will see that we are on this earth for a specific purpose and out of that seeing we will attain a conscious surrender offering ourselves as an instrument of the new creative power manifesting in the world. The key to this realization is the willingness and ability to live spontaneously, no plans, no foresight but oneness with the great flow which makes you execute at each instant the necessary gesture. In doing this you will align yourself with the infinite intelligence which governs infallibly all of nature’s movements including the flights of birds, and the motion of planets, and for which nothing is separate, nothing different. It is a consciousness which knows itself each instant everywhere and thus knows each instant the right action, the right direction, the exact arrangement of everything and without thinking about it. It knows the real need of each thing and the correct movement at each moment.”

In contrasting these two perspectives, they are not just perspectives but two very different realities. Those two realities are spirit and the other is physical matter but they both share consciousness as their source and essence.

Spirit is consciousness and physical matter, including your body is consciousness. The measurable difference between them is vibration.

Bruce Tanio of Tanio Technologies has done a lot of work in this area.  He said that a healthy body frequency is in the range of 62-72 Hz. When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised. If the frequency drops to 58 Hz, cold and flu symptoms appear. At 55 Hz, diseases like Candida take hold, at 52 Hz, Epstein Bar and at 42 Hz, Cancer. According to Dr. Royal R. Rife, every disease has a frequency. He found that certain frequencies can prevent development of disease and that others would destroy disease. Substances with higher frequency will destroy diseases of a lower frequency. Processed/canned foods have a frequency of zero. Fresh produce has up to 15 Hz, dry herbs from 12 to 22 Hz, and fresh herbs from 20 to 27 Hz. Essential oils start at 52 Hz and go as high as 320 Hz, which is the frequency of Turkish rose oil. Clinical research shows that essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man, creating an environment in which disease, bacteria, virus, fungus, etc., cannot survive.

So, this information can be exceptionally valuable. It gives us a unique perspective on health, healing and dying. Other studies show that negative thoughts lower our frequency on average 12 MHz. Positive thoughts raises our frequency on average 10 MHz.

In a 1998 article in the New England Journal of Medicine called “Protective and Damaging Effects of Stress Mediators,” Dr. Bruce McEwen stated, “Genetic factors do not account for all the individual variability in sensitivity to stress, as evinced by the lack of concordance between identical twins in many disorders. Moreover, genetic factors do not explain the gradients of health across socioeconomic levels in Western societies. Two factors largely determine individual responses to potentially stressful situations: the way a person perceives a situation and a person's general state of physical health, which is determined not only by genetic factors but also by behavioral and lifestyle choices. Whether one perceives a situation as a threat, either psychological or physical, is crucial in determining the behavioral response whether it is fleeing, fighting, or cowering in fear and the physiologic response calmness or heart palpitations and elevated cortisol levels.”

What I would like to do in this message is to go back to the place where we began to create the vibration, the reality in which you live and see what can be done there.

If we return to the concept of the negative-ground-of-being, the negative belief or beliefs you have about yourself which you think are true but they are not but you don’t know that so you function as if they are true, how many times a day does your negative-ground-of-being get activated, consciously or unconsciously? Is it even possible for the negative-ground-of-being to get activated without sensing threat to itself even just psychologically?

We must begin with the understanding that perception is the source of your response to any situation. In the horizontal (versus vertical), perceptions are built up on the basis of experience but I am suggesting that that is only what you have learned.

In reality, perception is not based upon experience but is based upon choice. The outer world does not dictate how you perceive it; the inner world, the world inside of you dictates the perception. The outer world does not define your reality. It is your inner world that defines your reality. So, whether we discuss reality, (the Smolin vs Durckheim issue), vibrational levels, essential oils, the stress levels, cortisol levels, lifestyle choices, we still must return to the earliest moment before you made those decisions and that takes you back to the issue of existence.

It is the moment just before the mind and body are veiled to the source of its existence. In other words, you can’t see your own condition, your own script that you have sculpted. And is this unconscious cycle or cycles that serve as the bedrock of your suffering.

Now self-awareness can cause you to become aware of the characteristics and elements of those cycles but self-awareness remains centered on the mind and ego as the source of the needed change, the mind and ego that created the problem in the first place. Your mental and the emotional bodies dwell on the drama of life, the uncertainty of life, and could be expected invite illness and disease because illness and disease are confirmations to the mental and the emotional that their viewpoints of life being overwhelming and painful are correct. “See, I told you so,” they seem to say.

Illness is to the body what falsehood is to the mind. Disease is to the body what depression or any other negative condition is to the mind. Understood properly, all illness manifested in the body is born in the mind.

Good health is inner peace. You hold inside of yourself more power to heal yourself than any physician does. True healing must begin from within.

Keep in mind that health and healing is taking place at four different levels of the being; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and that all four need to be involved in an integral process to approach healing. But medication is focused on and acting only on the physical body and doesn’t address the psychological which includes the mental and emotional…and of course, don’t leave the spiritual out.

Obviously, this becomes a little more complex than just taking medication. This doesn’t mean that medication should not be taken. It means that you have significant powers of healing inside of you but all four planes of your existence should be addressed in order to reach the maximum outcome of your efforts. It is often illness and disease which can become the means by which to experience harmony and oneness and greater consciousness.

The one necessary condition for healing is stillness. All of the daily drama, all of the mind’s agitation and worry and fear only prolongs the illness.

Creating a disciplined regiment in which quiet and calm can be established will give help you increase the strength you need to resist the illness. Like all manifestations of physical matter, disease has a nucleus- it has a starting point. Now, before it became a visible disease, its origin is going to be found in the mind at the level of a thought, perhaps a negative thought that had been practiced for decades. The case of Anita Moorijani is a wonderful example of a person who healed herself through the discovery of the source of her disease. But you can do that, too!

However, any thoughts I choose to share with you about health and healing here are but the tip of the iceberg and these discussions could continue for months. My point in this message is that there are two versions of consciousness: one is spirit and the other is physical matter but they both share consciousness as their source and essence. One created the other. And until you begin the task of seeking out and expanding your understanding of consciousness and begin to connect your mind to that understanding, you will continue to learn and repeat the experience that your mind has no allegiance to you or your body until you realize that there must be another way and other way is the path of consciousness.

The healing process is essentially the process of becoming that is within you. It is the process of awakening that lies inside of you. Nonetheless, all beliefs to which your mind holds dear are real to your mind even if they result in pain, disease and illness.

But you can choose again. You can choose differently.

Let me end this message with this quote from “A Course in Miracles.”

“The acceptance of sickness is the decision of the mind, for purpose for which it would use the body, is the basis of healing. And this is so for healing and all forms. The patient decides that this is so, and he recovers. If he decides against recovery, he will not be healed. Who is the physician? Only the mind of the patient himself. The outcome is what he decides that it is. Special Agent seem to be ministering to him, yet they but give form to his own choice. He chooses them in order to bring tangible form to his desires. And it is this they do, and nothing else. They are not actually needed it all. The patient could merely rise up without their aid and say, “I have no use for this.” There is no form of sickness that would not be cured at once. What is the single requisite for this shift in perception? It is simply this; the recognition that sickness is of the mind, and has nothing to do with the body. What does this recognition cost? It costs the whole world you see, for the world will never again appear to rule the mind. For with this recognition is responsibility placed where it belongs; not with the world, but on him who looks on the world and sees it as it is not. He looks on what he chooses to see. No more and no less. The world does nothing to him. He only thought it did.”
